Slow Food

The holder of Torronificio is registered from 2007 to Slow Food Movement and is actively involved with the local chapter to promote the area.

Torronificio Scaldaferro uses some Slow Food praesidia, as japonica loquat honey from Sicily and “Filippo Cea” almonds from Apulia. And is fighting for the inclusion of Limoneum selvaticum honey (cape cordgrass honey from Venetian lagoon) between the new principals of the movement.

The nougat Scaldaferro participates annually in events organized by the movement that also become an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with old and new consumers.
